Hornby R1085 Local Freight Set
The romance of the railways in Britain was at its best when hundreds of minor cross country lines traversed the country. In those days drivers would have unscheduled stops along the line picking up or dropping off goods as they went from village to village. It is not surprising that these trains were often called the 'Local Freight'.
This set includes a Hornby Midi TrakMat and an oval of track which can be enlarged to a simple but effective layout with the addition of Hornby Tracks and Accessory Packs.
