Slot Cars

One of the most popular amusement hobbies relating to model cars is that of slot car racing. Slot cars are miniaturized vehicles that run along tracks with slots where cars are powered by electric current. Slot cars have metallic blades which fit to the bottom of these slots. The majority of slot car hobbyists perform races with other enthusiasts on more than one occasion but there are a small number who dedicate their time and money to make scenic layouts, modeling roads and highways, and simulating urban and rural traffic.

Factors That Could Cause Derailment In Model Trains

One of the most small but irritating problem with model train hobby is derailments. Pinpointing what’s causing the derailment can also consume a lot of time and effort particularly if it happens on more than one track section. Model train derailments can be caused by dusts and dirt and cleaning tracks, engines and cars is the simplest measure to do in zeroing in on the problem. After cleaning what needs to be cleaned, run your model train again and if the derailment doesn’t take place any longer, then cleaning did the job and you don’t have to worry about it any longer.

History Of Thomas The Tank Engine

Thomas and Friends is a creation of the British television way of life inspired by the model train craze in the country and its first episode aired on British TV in 1984. The name “Thomas and Friends” was converted to “Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends” in 2003 and was shot in Shepperton Studios.
