Toy train help?

I have a Fleischmann HO (model AC train) and it says in accesories, Set **** : Electro-converter. (not included in set)
I don’t know if I need it or not, and if I don’t, How do I get it running, in terms of electrifing the rails, to make it move? Immediate BEST answer vote to correct. Please don’t say something random.

You need what’s called a transformer. Wiring the rails is simple, one wire per rail from the transformer posts to the tracks. Here’s a link, just match the set number and order the transformer.
Model railroading lasts a lifetime.
